technology has become mother
You know you're living in a dystopian society when a child is crying and being held in their mother's arms is no comfort, yet when their tablet is stuck in front of their face and an AI video begins emitting from the device, their sobbing suddenly stops. What world ARE we living in?
And I realize the technology has now become the mother. Technology has replaced a mother's nurture. The device is now being substituted for direct human care and physical presence. What is natural has now become entirely unnatural and our world is slowly shifting into a genuine AI takeover.
Might I say, I'm terrified.
