Day 9
I feel that 2025 has not left and infact, won't be over until March 20. I can hardly grasp how I'm supposed to start a new year in the bleak midwinter, let alone grapple with goals right now. The only goal I have thought of is seeing one new thing a month, or if not new, just seeing something. I love going on little, fun, planned day-trips with J. And the reason I specifically like going with him is because it gives me a chance to truly let go of the reigns and feel like I can simply focus on enjoying the moment. But, of course, this also means planning it all before it happens so my silly brain can know what to expect. So, for this reason, I'd like to plan at least one "trip" every month.
I'm not quite sure yet what January or February's trips will be, but I do know that I'm going to FL in March and SC in April. Both will be exciting, new trips because I've never been to either locations. I've been to different cities in FL, but never where we'll be going and I've never been to SC ever!
Florida is so exciting because it will be the first time J and I experience the ocean together and I feel like we've just had so much chaos and disarray since we've moved into our house, it will hopefully feel like a nice relief. And South Carolina will be intentionally to visit where Justin lives and watch him perform for his master's recital, so I'm very excited for that, too!
Until spring, I'll be steadily regarding my goals and considering what to set as an expectation for my 2026.
